This is what happens when you're bored shitless. Lucky I managed to stop myself from making the list too long. Hahaha... Last weekend I, Izz, Aish, Iwan and Sid went to Butterworth to sort out my stuff there. From Melaka we pushed off at 4 something am and arrived in Butterworth at 10 something am. Go over Nora's house to get the house keys and went to the house. Managed to sort out my stuff by 340 pm. Went back to Nora's house, take shower, rest, eat (Nora made Laksa Sarawak- special request pour moi) and chitchat (Kak Mega, Kak Aishah, Datin Nani, Vina, Lynette were among the guests). After Maghrib we went to Queensbay Mall in Penang. What a letdown! The place from outside was quite impressive, with an amusement park and what not. But inside... hmm. Maybe we're jaded. The layout inside wasn't interesting (in fact it was rather dull) and the place was closing by 10pm (even though it was written 1030pm on the signposts) and this is on a Saturday nite...! They only have ONE parking ticket machine (for such a huge place... it's insane!!) and it is located on the third floor. They have only one lift for each court (North, South and Centre) and they were rather small (6 adults 2 kids and a stroller--- a very, very tight squeeze) and only one outlet for exit (trying too hard to cut cost meh...?) The trip was a bust. Should have gone and have Char Kue Tiaw instead. Frust betul... Reached Nora's house at 1130pm. The rest of the crew slept while I continued chitchatting with the ladies until 4am. Woke up at 630am packed our stuff and got the kids ready. Met Nadia before we took off. Thank you so much Nora for your hospitality. I really appreciate it. I feel like you're part of my family. (Sendiri muka tak malu mengaku sedara... huhuhu) We were dead tired when we reached Melaka. Lucky the kids were ok. Hmmm.... one tick on the list. Many more to go. Have to keep my fingers crossed. And by the way... I'm serious about the Ad above.
